Responsibilities
The Opportunity
As a Cntrl & Rpt Analyst supporting the Germany sector at PepsiCo, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity, accuracy, and compliance of our European operations. You will be responsible for executing day-to-day general accounting processes, performing robust balance sheet reconciliations, and ensuring precision in month-end closing activities. Operating in an international environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-border stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial reporting and support high-level management presentations.
Your Impact
Financial Accounting & Closings: Record and post manual journal entries (debits/credits) with accuracy, managing accruals and regular accounting adjustments during month-end and year-end closes.
Balance Sheet Governance: Perform comprehensive account reconciliations (BSR) to ensure all balances are fully supported, accurate, and compliant with corporate policies.
Management Reporting: Assist in the consolidation of financial data and support the presentation of Balance Sheet Review (BSR) results to senior management and directors.
Audit & Compliance Support: Provide essential support in preparation for internal/external audits and assist in compiling annual financial schedules and related statutory documentation.
Process Improvement: Collaborate on internal control related activities, ensuring adherence to financial standards while identifying opportunities to optimize reporting workflows.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with solid fundamental knowledge of accounting principles (journal entries, debits, credits, and financial statements).
Technical Skills: Strong experience handling accruals, manual journal entries, and account reconciliations. Familiarity with ERP systems (like SAP) and advanced Excel proficiency is highly preferred.
Language Skills: Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken) with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders from diverse international backgrounds.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the organizational skills needed to manage tight month-end deadlines.
Availability: Full availability to work a regular shift aligned with European working hours (Central European Time / CET).
