Job Description
The Chief of Staff (Product Strategy & GTM) is a senior strategic and operational partner to the Global Managing Director of Product Strategy and Client Success, responsible for maximising the effectiveness, focus, and execution capability of the Product Strategy and Client Success organisation.
Acting as a force multiplier, this role operates at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution—ensuring that priorities are clearly defined, decisions are translated into action, and cross functional initiatives move forward with pace and clarity. It owns operational coherence, escalations and executions across the product enablement organisation.
In addition to driving operational excellence, the Chief of Staff is expected to act as a strategic advisor to the MD, on the matters of Product Strategy and Client Success — capable of independently building client-ready materials, supporting strategic accounts, and stepping to stabilise or accelerate accounts at risk.
The chief of staff also manages the programme management discipline.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Execution & Client Support (30 – 40%)
Act as a trusted partner to the Global Managing Director, supporting prioritisation, planning, and decision-making
Translate strategic priorities into clear execution plans with ownership and follow-through
Act as a proxy on product strategy and client success topics when needed
Independently develop high-quality client materials (presentations, proposals, narratives)
Step into strategic accounts to unblock issues and drive progress
2. Operations & Execution
Drive delivery of critical cross-functional initiatives across Presales, Product Success, Program Management, and Client Implementation
Establish and run effective operating rhythms (governance, planning, execution tracking)
Operationalise key workflows, including Presales to Product Success handover and ways of working within the team.
Identify and resolve risks, blockers, and organisational friction
3. Account Oversight
Maintain a clear view of all accounts, including implementation progress, risks, and overall health
Establish consistent tracking of delivery across accounts
Proactively flag and help resolve issues impacting delivery
Step in to stabilise or accelerate accounts at risk
4. Team Culture, Enablement & Communication
Support development of team narrative, ways of working, and key materials
Ensure consistency and quality of internal and client-facing outputs
Improve knowledge sharing, templates, and documentation
5. Resources Management
Drive resource planning and workforce allocation across projects and accounts, in coordination with team leads
Support budget and resource investment decisions
The chief of staff also manages the programme management discipline.
Key skills
7–10+ years of experience in Chief of Staff, Strategy, Operations, Consulting, or similar roles in a fast-paced, product-led or technology environment
Strong understanding of product, platform, and technology delivery in complex, cross-functional settings
Ability to operate across strategy, execution, and client-facing work
Proven experience developing high-quality client presentations and materials independently
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information into clear, actionable insights
Execution-focused, with a track record of driving outcomes in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and ability to operate with discretion
