Key Qualifications and requirements:
· Possess a valid Chargeman A4 Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission Malaysia). ·
· Minimum 3 years' experience in hotel engineering, facilities management, commercial buildings or related industries.
· Sound knowledge of electrical distribution systems, switchboards, generators, transformers and building services equipment.
· Experience in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and building maintenance systems.
· Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems and general maintenance works.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
· Knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) requirements and electrical safety regulations.
· Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Computer literacy with basic knowledge of maintenance reporting and record keeping.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
· Able to work on shifts, weekends, public holidays and respond to emergency call-outs when required.
· Physically fit and capable of carrying out maintenance tasks in various operational environments.
Assists other Hosts with duties throughout the hotel when requested by superior.
Any additional specialist skill is an advantage
