You will lead a team, optimize inventory, and maintain strict health and safety standards, good customer relations and ensure a safe working environment. Minimum Requirement:Relevant Diploma or Degree (in Logistics / Supply / Chain / Operations)3 to 5 Years relevant warehouse / logistics experienceRelevant Supervisory experience with exposure to team leadershipKnowledge of Health and Safety/ ISO SystemValid Driver’s LicenceComputer Literacy (MS office)SAP knowledge and ability to use the systemQuality managementStock Management and controlForklift licence (an advantage)People Management SkillsLegal and regulatory requirements (OHSA, ISO 14001 / 45001) Required profile :Essential duties and responsibilities:Conduct morning meetings, allocate the team and report dailyManage daily operations and functions of the PSC teamCoordinate, plan and organize the workload with all Team Members to achieve daily targetsMaintain stock holding accuracy, including FIFO controlManage accuracy of stock received, stored, and delivered to customers.Effective and timeous communication on all PSC related mattersManage overtime to meet TTAF / customer requirements (preauthorization / cost control)Manage non-conformance, complete countermeasure / corrective actionManage standard operating procedure (SOP), adherence and review quarterlyManage stock take preparation / participation –accountability for lossesEnsure housekeeping is done daily by all PSC teamManage kaizens and near misses’ submissions, to ensure continuous improvementReport any irregularities to ensure safety and qualitySAP process ManagementTarget driven to ensure interim bins are cleared at the end of each shiftEffective utilization of space, material handling equipment and manpower Submit Management report and/ supporting documents.Competency Requirement:Communication Skills                                             Customer centric Focus                              Learning agility                                                       Problem SolvingAttention to detailDecision MakingPlanning and organisingConflict Management    All appointments will be made in line with our Employment Equity Plan.
