Car Fleet ManagerWork Dynamics | EMEA Region | Paris, France
Position Overview
Oversee strategic planning, operational management, and optimization of JLL's vehicle fleet across the EMEA Work Dynamics account, ensuring compliance, cost control, and sustainability while delivering exceptional stakeholder service.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Operations Management
- Manage day-to-day operations including vehicle procurement, maintenance scheduling, insurance coordination, and disposal
- Develop and implement fleet policies aligned with JLL standards and client requirements
- Monitor fleet utilization rates and implement efficiency optimization strategies
- Ensure vehicles meet safety standards and regulatory compliance across EMEA jurisdictions
Vendor and Supplier Management
- Negotiate and manage relationships with leasing companies, maintenance providers, fuel suppliers, and telematics vendors
- Conduct vendor performance reviews and implement service level agreements
- Source competitive bids and evaluate proposals based on total cost of ownership and sustainability
Financial Management and Reporting
- Develop and manage annual fleet budget including capital and operational costs
- Track and analyze expenses: fuel, maintenance, insurance, and depreciation
- Prepare monthly financial reports and dashboards highlighting trends and savings opportunities
- Implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining service quality
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local transportation regulations and environmental standards across EMEA
- Maintain accurate fleet records: registration, insurance, driver qualifications
- Manage incident reporting and coordinate insurance claims
- Conduct operational audits to identify and mitigate risks
Sustainability and Innovation
- Execute fleet electrification strategies aligned with JLL's sustainability commitments
- Evaluate emerging technologies: electric vehicles, telematics, mobility platforms
- Monitor environmental performance: carbon emissions, fuel efficiency, alternative fuels
- Integrate fleet operations into broader ESG initiatives
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Work Dynamics leadership, facilities teams, and end-users on fleet requirements
- Provide driver training on safe operation, fuel efficiency, and company policies
- Resolve operational issues promptly and professionally
Qualifications and Experience
Required
- 5-7 years fleet management experience, preferably in corporate or facility management
- Proven track record managing multi-country operations with 100+ vehicles
- Strong knowledge of EMEA transportation regulations and compliance frameworks
- Experience with fleet management systems, telematics platforms, and data analytics
- Demonstrated vendor contract negotiation and management expertise
- Financial acumen: budget development and cost performance analysis
- Fluency in English and French (required for Paris-based role)
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Professional certifications: CAFM (Certified Automotive Fleet Manager) or equivalent
- Electric vehicle fleet integration and charging infrastructure experience
- Knowledge of ISO standards for fleet management and environmental performance
- Background in integrated facilities management or corporate real estate services
- Additional European language skills
