We are hiring Business Analyst for an international organisation in Warsaw, Poland and various locations around Europe.
Roles and responsibilities
Models and documents value chain/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities and data.
Elicits and analyses business needs, requirements and user stories,
Supports business experts and product owners during definition of requirements and software development
Maintains and tracks requirements/user stories in systems lifecycle
Transfers business, users and technical needs into business requirements specification,
Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features
Analyses available systems
Supports identification of options for potential solutions
Supports preparation of business cases and feasibility studies
Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, change management.
Roles and Responsibilities continued
Responsible for designing, validating, and testing business processes for achieving business process excellence
Responsible for taking a holistic approach in the planning and managing of a programmes for continuous improvements of business processes
Responsible for coaching Frontex staff on upcoming changes, ensuring that a plan is in place to teach new skills and/or process changes
Collaborates with owners of end-to-end processes to continually seek out process improvements
Identifies opportunities for business process improvement leading to improved customer service, lower costs, or higher revenue (effectiveness and efficiency gains)
Communicates project objectives, business case, requirements, and scope to all stakeholders, in order to better provide rapid responses to business needs
Quantitatively analyses business processes, performing cost-benefit and what-if analysis
Plans organizational changes processImplements performance monitoring systems for business processes
Supports business users in developing strategic and tactical plans (e.g. sector strategies, implementation plans etc.)
Supports definition of transition roadmaps for business architectures
Knowledge and skills
Has gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of the software solution
Knowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation,
Knowledge in requirements/user stories elicitation and analysis,
Knows analysis/modelling notations like UML (capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model etc.)
Is proficient in using modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others
Presents excellent analytical and communication skills
Holds ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation effectively
Presents problem solving skills
Specific Expertise
Solid previous experience in business analysis activities for enterprise information systems supporting human resource and asset management, financial processes and grant agreements management.
Previous experience in business analysis in projects related to integrations between systems and data platforms.
Demonstrated familiarity with SQL and data analysis techniques
At least 3 years of experience as a BA of a large system working with a development team with more than 10 developers
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Minimum of 8 years of total work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role/project
Ability to understand, speak and write English (C1)
Candidates will need to provide an English certification (C1)
in the absence of one, candidates will be required to take a free online test, but will provide candidates a CEFR certification
Required certifications:
"At least 2 certifications among:
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent
Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level
or equivalent or equivalent certifications recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)"
Remuneration :
Freelancer daily rate range: 320-360EUR/day
