Hyatt Place Cancun Airport is seeking an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the management and supervision of the Kitchen and Banquet Operations .
This position will be responsible for overseeing daily operations while ensuring compliance with brand standards, quality, service excellence, food safety, and profitability goals. The role will provide direct leadership to cooks, stewards, and banquet/restaurant servers , fostering a results-driven and guest-focused work environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervise daily kitchen, restaurant, and banquet operations.
Monitor food and beverage costs and support financial objectives.
Prepare and analyze food costing, quotations, and budgets.
Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes.
Lead, train, and develop operational team members.
Control inventories, requisitions, and operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Utilize POS systems and administrative tools to support operations and reporting.

Assistant Restaurant Manager
Or similar Food & Beverage leadership positions.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage costing.
Experience preparing quotations and managing supplier relationships.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Intermediate English proficiency.
Experience using POS systems, preferably Micros.
Strong organizational, communication, and results-oriented skills.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
