The Advancement department at INSEAD is dedicated to fundraising and developing relationships with alumni and donors. It plays a crucial role in supporting the school’s strategic initiatives and promoting engagement within the INSEAD community.

INSEAD is seeking an Apprentice, Communication Coordinator to join our Advancement department. This is a full-time, contract position based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France.

About the Job

We are currently looking to recruit an apprentice to join the Advancement Communications team as a Communications Coordinator starting from September 2026. Based on our Europe campus in Fontainebleau, the role is located within our Advancement Department.

Your role within the team

  • Provide essential support to the Advancement Communications team, especially in relation to editorial and content, social media, collaterals, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Writing social media posts (Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn).
  • Writing stories for the web (Global INSEAD day website and toolkits, INSEADer of the Month website updates etc.), Alumni mag/newsletter, Donors report.
  • Communications work before and during important events including Giving Day, the Reunions, Alumni Forum.
  • Support the organisation of regular Advancement full staff meeting. 
  • Help maintain the editorial calendar.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The ideal profile

  • Master’s degree in communications.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent use of the Office Pack (including PowerPoint) and ability to use the social networks. 
  • Excellent team spirit with the ability to work autonomously. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent English, written and spoken.
