Advisory CMF Designer

Description and Requirements 岗位职责/Job Responsibilities: CMF Ownership & Execution Excellence Take ownership of CMF initiatives and drive them from concept to production execution, in collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors. Color & Trend Sensitivity Demonstrate a strong sensitivity to color and emerging trends, curating globally competitive and regionally tailored color proposals that enhance product appeal and align with market demands. Trend Forecasting & Storytelling Stay attuned to global consumer lifestyle and design trends. Cross-reference inspirations from fashion, home interiors, fine arts, and digital media to build compelling CMF narratives. Material & Process Innovation Drive innovation in materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes to support Motorola as a lifestyle brand. Research and develop innovative material applications by engaging directly with suppliers and cross-industry experts. Material Sourcing & Resource Development Identify and leverage both global and local material resources across industries to discover opportunities for application within the mobile and wearable tech sectors. Cross-Industry Experience Candidates with diverse design backgrounds across multiple industries—especially mobile, smartwatches, TWS earbuds, wearables, and audio devices—will be prioritized. Global Experience & Adaptability Demonstrated ability to thrive in diverse and fast-paced work environments. International work experience is preferred. Culturally adaptable within a global organization. Communication & Collaboration Proactive and positive, with strong communication skills. Collaborate effectively within the Motorola organization and with external partners and vendors. Supplier Engagement & Prototyping Lead and organize supplier workshops and prototyping activities. Work closely with design teams to ensure feasibility of innovative concepts for mass production. Language Skills Proficiency in English is preferred. 岗位要求/Job Requirements： 5 years of experience in CMF design or equivalent industrial design experience with an interest in cosmetics or product aesthetics. Experience in mobile phone or wearable product design is a plus. Familiarity with color and material trends, and the ability to support color storytelling through basic hand sketching and digital tools such as Adobe Creative Suite. Ability to develop complete color, material, and finishing design proposals. Basic understanding of the design process, from trend research to concept support and pre-production development. Ability to handle assigned tasks across multiple projects simultaneously, with a collaborative attitude and willingness to learn and solve problems. General awareness of manufacturing processes, material types, surface finishing techniques, and sustainable materials is preferred. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
