Overview This role is responsible for the the Corrugate category (ca $60MM spend with 13 suppliers supplying 600+ SKU’s to 16 plants) across East Europe and Turkey ( Poland, Greece, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine ). Responsibilities Develop and execute procurement strategy for categories Deliver conversion productivity and value engineering productivity ~4-6% per annum Develop strategic supplier relationships that deliver YOY cost reduction commitments, reliable supply assurance, quality improvement projects and innovation Develop and deliver PEP+ roadmap delivering accelerated results (eg supplier transition move to Renewable Energy) Lead supply chain optimization and process efficiency (network optimization) to secure lowest total cost of ownership / freight cost Invigorate category by identifying new investments to drive competitive tension for existing volume and growth through acquisition Lead negotiation, analysis of complex commercial models for the successful implementation and compliance of multi-year strategic sourcing agreements to provide best in class price and quality Act as Business Partner for GP with MSO leadership team ensuring GP deliver maximum value for the BU, and ensures BU implement GP strategies effectively Apply Global Control Standards in the processes under his/her accountability, comply with GP Policy and other applicable policies as periodically updated and communicated, and ensure correct execution and documentation of controls. Qualifications 8-10 Years of experience International sourcing experience Proven success in supplier negotiation, utilization of digital sourcing tools and procurement systems and metrics. Proven ability to develop and implement innovative purchasing solutions. Analytical thinking and digital skills; methodical approach of problems solving. Excellent communication skills and ability to work within multi-functional teams -– networking, influencing & presenting ideas/programs, demonstrably powerful influencer. Effective relationship building, development and maintenance with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Self-starter, ability to work remotely from line manager. Identify potential roadblocks and profile them to management for clarification and resolution. Manage and execute projects in a timely manner. Ability to prioritize. Robust Corrugate category knowledge; understanding market drivers and key strategic levers. Proven ability to work in a complex matrix, international environment Able to demonstrate Agility – flexing style and approach depending of different circumstances (business, people, macos) Drive for Results- invigorated by challenges; willing to take risks and tackle large, complex tasks; no fear of failure; ability to manage and work within a dynamic environment.
