At Acacia Prison, you’ll play an important role in supporting education and vocational pathways that create meaningful outcomes for people in custody. Working as part of the Education and Training team, you’ll help ensure smooth day-to-day operations through organised, accurate and responsive administration support. This is an opportunity to contribute to a positive learning environment while working alongside passionate professionals committed to rehabilitation and service excellence.
As an Administrative Support Officer in the Education and Training team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
Organising and maintaining information across multiple systems and platforms
Collating and preparing accurate data and reporting information
Coordinating scheduled team meetings and capturing meeting outcomes
Managing resource ordering and monitoring administration processes
Supporting Education Facilitators and Vocational Trainers with administrative activities
Responding to and managing enquiries from students and prospective students

Experience using Microsoft Office and digital systems with strong attention to detail
Confidence working across competing priorities while maintaining accuracy
Strong communication skills and an approachable, collaborative style
A proactive mindset with openness to innovation and continuous improvement
The ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
Experience in education, training or adult learning environments is desirable
