Hannah Mallia NL Country Director [email protected] My Profile See my jobs Job Description Our client is a growing pharmaceutical company in a scale-up phase, with ambitious plans for continued international growth. They are looking for a driven accounting leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can manage strategic topics with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and work in the details. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, taking ownership of accounting processes, reporting, controls, and improvement projects. Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Associate Director: Lead and oversee international accounting and reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting under US GAAP Support and improve the Order-to-Cash and revenue accounting processes Lead accounting and finance projects and drive process improvements as the business scales Partner with commercial, finance, and other business teams on accounting and reporting topics Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, controls, and audit activities Support SOX compliance and internal control requirements. Provide guidance and coaching to team members and contribute to the development of the wider accounting function Work closely with senior management and external partners on key accounting and reporting matters Requirements: A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; US CPA strongly preferred/required 10+ years of relevant Accounting experience, including leadership experience Big 4 and in-house experience combined Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting/reporting processes Ambitious, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience with process improvement, controls, and cross-functional projects Excellent English, both written and spoken Experience with SAP and advanced Excel is a plus EMEA Recruitment is committed to promoting Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in the workplace.
