THERMAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a Thermal Account Manager to join our team in Paris, France.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Thermal Account Manager position is a key role within the Sales Team in France, and part of the EMEA Sales organization.
You will integrate a Team that covers all disciplines of the business, within which you will hold account management responsibility, supported by a matrix of product specialists to facilitate the needs of your customers.
As an individual, you need to have industry experience, good commercial skills, and technical competence to create trust and value for customers with VERTIV’s products and solutions.
Account Managers are an extremely important revenue stream for VERTIV, and consequently we are looking for a highly competent, energetic, and ambitious individual to take on this role within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ Increase VERTIV’s market share and meet/exceed budget numbers in terms of Orders, Sales, GM/EBITDA, in accordance with the company’s ethics and guidelines.
▪ Long-term building and maintaining of relationships with the allocated accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
▪ Consistent promotion of VERTIV’s product and service portfolio.
▪ Identification of leads and opportunities for profitable growth in the market.
▪ Development of existing accounts and identification of new ones with big potential.
▪ Proactive collaboration with internal stakeholders and colleagues for Team success.
▪ Creation of Account plans, including strategy, pipeline, key activities, organization and business models.
▪ Bidding and managing commercial negotiations with external and internal stakeholders until close of sale.
▪ Active monitoring of market trends and competitor’s activities.
▪ Active participation in industry associations and fairs.
▪ Develop relationships with key players in the market.
▪ Actively participate in pipeline reviews, orders forecasts and demand generation.
▪ Ensure best-in class level of data quality in the CRM system and other internal tools.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
▪ Min. 5 years of proven records in industrial or tertiary sectors.
▪ Experience in commercial or bid management roles.
▪ Technical experience with thermal management/cooling products.
▪ Experience in the data centers sector is a plus.
▪ Min. BAC+2 diploma in mechanical, heating/cooling specification, or equivalent.
▪ Business education/diploma is a plus.
▪ Excellent interpersonal, presentation and problem-solving skills.
▪ Planning and leadership skills.
▪ Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels.
▪ Ability to work proactively under own initiative, as well as in a team environment.
▪ Ability to represent VERTIV successfully at meetings to senior management level.
▪ Fluent English required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Time travel required: 70%, with occasional overnight stays and abroad trips.
