Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an A350 EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) and ESN (Electrical Structure Network) Designated Certification Specialist (f/m) to join our Overall Systems Architecture and Integration department based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team developing A350 EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) and ESN (Electrical Structure Network). As part of the Overall Systems V&V, Certification and Integration team, you will be involved in supporting AIRWORTHINESS activities for A350 EWIS and ESN. You will start as a Designated Certification Specialist trainee, with the objective to obtain an official nomination from the Airbus internal Certification teams and then officially act as a Designated Certification Specialist. EWIS and ESN are two key topics for the design of our future aircraft, hence this position is a very nice opportunity to position yourself for key future roles related to the improvement of our ways of working and the development of new technologies like High-Voltage electrical architectures.

Your challenges :
Build with the different Design Offices,the Certification Manager (from the Product Integrity organization) and the Programme organisation a certification strategy for the issuance of the means of compliance (MOC) on the EWIS and ESN perimeters
Elaborate the Certification Plan ( applicable rules , means of compliance , schedule) and to negociate it with the airworthiness authorities (AA) in relation with the relevant Certification Manager
Coordinate with the relevant Design Offices to ensure the follow-up of the certification strategy
Check and independently verify compliance of the means of compliance (MoCs) produced by the Design Office
Provide technical support to the Product Integrity organization to answer to the requests from the Airworthiness Authorities (AA)
Your boarding pass :
Proven experience in electrical installation and / or electrical system development preferably within the aerospace industry, ideally with a good knowledge of the Validation and Verification (V&V) and certification processes.
Stakeholder Management: A natural ability to connect and collaborate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders within an international and multicultural environment.
Technical Pedagogy: Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-experts to facilitate informed decision-making.
Constructive Assertiveness: A proactive mindset to challenge the status quo and defend technical or regulatory positions with conviction.
Advanced level in both French and English, essential for seamless technical coordination and high-level regulatory interactions.
