Corporate Finance
The Houlihan Lokey Corporate Finance business has extensive expertise in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, activist shareholder and takeover defense, and other related advisory services for a broad range of clients. In addition, we have the proven ability to engineer and execute financing solutions that are essential for growth and success and offer access to financing in the public and alternative capital markets through the issuance of debt, equity, or hybrid securities. In EMEA, we work with a wide spectrum of companies, from middle-market privately owned enterprises to large multinational organizations. With a growing platform of Corporate Finance professionals and offices across the region, in addition to our global reach and in-depth knowledge across a broad range of industries, we have the breadth and targeted expertise to provide exceptional client service.

Houlihan Lokey offers 6-month internship opportunities throughout the year in our Paris office. Please note that we are currently hiring for July 2026 only, and all candidates must submit a formal application via Workday in order to be considered for the role.

Responsibilities
The internship in our Technology team is an excellent opportunity to work alongside investment bankers in a stimulating environment on various M&A advisory and debt advisory assignments for clients in various industries.
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job training. Throughout your internship you will get similar levels of exposure as a first-year analyst, assisting in the preparation of materials for clients and conducting market, industry, and company analyses. Furthermore, you will gain experience in financial modelling, valuation analyses, and supporting the due diligence processes.
Basic qualifications
- You must be completing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree
- You must have verbal and written fluency in both French and English (additional language skills are also advantageous)
- 6+ months of previous internship experience within investment banking and/or related fields
- Have an understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications
- Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical skills
- A demonstrated interest in M&A
- You must be motivated and have the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding, but ultimately rewarding environment
